Early Literacy Kits
Early Literacy Kits are a fun way to introduce early learning and literacy practices for children. The skills learned through these kits will help you raise a great reader! Click on the kits below to learn more, or to place a hold.
How to Borrow and Return

Free to borrow with valid Kawartha Lakes Public Library card.

Loan Period: Kits can be borrowed for 1 week and are renewable if there are no existing holds.

Placing a Hold:

Browse the list of available kits below.

Select the kit you're interested in and click "Borrow" to place a hold on the online catalogue.

A hold must be placed in advance. Library staff will contact you when your kit is ready for pickup.

You can choose to pick up your kit at any of our 14 branches.

Returns: Kits must be returned during branch open hours, as they do not fit in book drops.
