Kawartha Lakes – Due to improving weather and road conditions, Kawartha Lakes is lifting temporary load restrictions on all roads throughout the municipality effective 12:01am on Monday May 5, 2025.

Kawartha Lakes – Kawartha Lakes' Roads Operations division announced today that road conditions have permitted the removal of load weight restrictions for all municipal roads south of County Road 8 (Glenarm Road). Load restrictions on the section of County Road 8 east of Fenelon Falls to Bobcaygeon remain in effect.
