Kawartha Lakes – One month in, and the new Organics Program for urban areas in Kawartha Lakes is already making a difference. Within the first month of the program, we diverted 94.67 tonnes of food and organic waste from our landfills. Thank you to all those who have been participating.

Landfill

Laxton Landfill will be closed today.

Lindsay Transit

Lindsay Transit will be reducing service effective immediately and will operate only on the following arterial roads today, Sunday, February 16, 2025.

Kawartha Lakes - Due to mechanical failure of the sidewalk clearing equipment in Lindsay on February 16, 2025, pedestrians are advised to use extra caution. We appreciate your patience while we work to resume operations as soon as possible.
